Scott Ruff

Scott Ruff has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Scott began their career as a Software Developer at Gallagher Bassett in 1988 and later worked as an Application Architect and Delivery Lead at Walgreens from 1996 to 2015. During their time at Walgreens, they also served as a Senior Software Design Engineer at Walgreens Boots Alliance from 2015 to 2016.

In 2016, Scott joined Presence Health as a Programmer Analyst, where they developed web and automation projects using C#, .Net, and ASP. Scott also provided application support and performed financial reporting and analytics. After three years, they transitioned to R1 RCM in an identical role, focusing on automation development and financial reporting.

Most recently, in 2020, Scott became a System Administrator at Riverside Healthcare. Here, they specialize in Redhat Linux and server administration and is responsible for setting up Redhat Linux on servers for the hospital's applications. Scott also installs hardware to expand the hospital's services.

Scott Ruff completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from Illinois State University between 1983 and 1987.
