Stewart Miller

Head of School at Riverview School

A former Marine and graduate of Rowan University in NJ, Stewart Miller has passionately dedicated his professional life to empowering students who face learning disabilities. This is Stewart’s 15th year serving as Head of residential Schools, with this being his fourth year as Head of School at Riverview. Stewart has presented regionally and nationally on the topic of learning differences and on the importance of character strengths to lifelong success. Stewart was featured in The Address, a PBS Ken Burns’ Documentary that sought to change the narrative about learning challenges from one of student limitations to that of remarkable achievements students can realize in the right educational environment. Stewart enjoys skiing and time at the beach with his wife, Melanie, and 14-year-old son, Trent.
