Adam Michalak

Adam Michalak is a highly experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer with a robust background in advanced manufacturing and engineering. Currently at Rivian, Adam leads special projects focused on automated manufacturing lines for battery power electronics and drive units, successfully bringing manufacturing processes from concept to high-volume production. Previous roles include a manufacturing engineer at Joby Aviation, where Adam played a crucial role in the electric powertrain development, and positions at ASML, encompassing responsibilities in deep tech hardware production and systems integration. Adam's experience also includes R&D mechanical engineering at Swift Engineering, contributing to NASA-funded projects. Adam holds a Master of Science in Additive Manufacturing from Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University.
