Bala Gurusamy

Bala Gurusamy is a seasoned automotive professional with extensive experience in vehicle launch and program management. Currently serving as Senior Manager for Vehicle Launch at Rivian since February 2023, Bala leads the launch of consumer vehicle platforms through strategic program management. Prior to Rivian, Bala worked as Operations/Launch Manager at Lear Corporation, where the focus was on enhancing operations for automotive seat launches, and as Senior Program Manager at Tenneco, where large-scale exhaust system development programs were directed. With a career spanning various engineering and management roles at notable companies including Adient and Tenneco, Bala holds an MBA from Kettering University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University.
