Donnie Robinson

Donnie Robinson is a seasoned learning and development professional currently serving as the Sr. Manager of Manufacturing Learning & Development at Rivian since August 2021. In this leadership role, Robinson oversees a team responsible for onboarding new operations employees through the Manufacturing Basecamp program, emphasizing company values and support during initial employment challenges. Prior to this, Robinson held various positions at Rivian, including Sr. Engineering L&D Program Manager, delivering training content for Engineering departments. Before joining Rivian, Robinson was the Head of Learning and Development at thyssenkrupp Camshafts, where responsibilities included leading a global rollout of SuccessFactors LMS across ten plants. Robinson's career also includes significant roles in training process development at thyssenkrupp Presta Danville and foreign language instruction at Fulbright Turkey and Yaşar University. Academia includes a Master of Arts in German, Literature, and Translation from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
