Ian Esten

Ian Esten is a seasoned audio engineering professional with extensive experience in digital signal processing (DSP). Currently serving as a Senior Staff Audio DSP Engineer at Rivian since November 2022, Ian has previously held significant positions at leading companies, including Senior Staff Scientist at Dolby Laboratories and Senior DSP Engineer at Doppler Labs. Ian's career commenced with a role as a DSP Engineer at Kurzweil Music Systems and includes valuable experience from self-employment as a DSP contractor. Ian holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering from Imperial College London, earned between 1996 and 2000.
