Liam Loftus Asseev

Liam Loftus Asseev is an experienced Embedded Software Engineer currently working at Rivian since February 2022, specializing in the design and development of software for charging and energy products. Prior experience includes roles as an Embedded Software Engineer focused on Direct Current Fast Charging and as a Test Automation Engineer involved in Electronic Control Unit testing. Previously, Liam served as an Automation Project Engineer at Lawrence Equipment, enhancing production lines through automation solutions, and as General Manager at uría S.A. de C.V., where significant retrofitting of machinery was accomplished. Early in his career, Liam worked as a waiter at Planar Restaurant - Bar & Dining while studying in Sydney. Liam holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey and has pursued additional courses at renowned institutions including Caltech and UC Irvine.
