Stephen Clonts

Stephen Clonts is a seasoned professional in the field of autonomous vehicles and compliance, currently serving as Sr Global Compliance Partner at Rivian since April 2021. In this role, Stephen oversees DOT compliance and operational safety for the Northwest Region, managing a fleet of over 3,000 vehicles. Stephen has extensive experience in the autonomous trucking sector, having worked at Aurora as a Commercial Fleet Site Auditor and Autonomous Trucking Logistics Coordinator, where expertise was applied to develop a trucking platform and manage public road testing. Previous roles include serving as the first Fleet Dispatcher at Embark Trucks, where Stephen coordinated test operations and managed significant partnerships. Additional experience includes positions at Waymo, Starship Technologies, Instacart, and Gap Inc., reflecting a robust background in operations, logistics, marketing, and theater production. Stephen holds an education from Penn State World Campus.
