Vamsi Nalluri

Vamsi Nalluri is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in machine learning and hardware architecture. Currently serving as the Director of ML/AI HW Architecture at Rivian since January 2022, Vamsi previously held the position of Senior Staff System Engineer at Xilinx from June 2018 to September 2023, where responsibility included architecting and implementing a Sparse Neural Network Inference Accelerator. Prior experience includes roles at Intel Corporation, where Vamsi focused on accelerating machine learning applications on FPGAs, and a position at Altera as a Staff Design Engineer involving functional verification of PMA blocks. Vamsi's career began at Tabula, contributing to both 22nm and 40nm tapeout lifecycles and validating designs at Xilinx. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, Vamsi holds a BTech in Electrical Engineering.
