Andrew Peterson (Pete)

Andrew (Pete) Peterson has extensive work experience in various technology leadership roles. Andrew (Pete) is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Riviera Partners since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Information Technology Officer (CIO/CTO) at the City of Oakland from March 2017 to June 2021. Before that, they served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO)/Investor at Up Communications, LLC, a provider of outsourced labor resources and developer of SaaS workforce management software from 2010 to 2015. Andrew (Pete) also worked as the Vice President of Technology & Operations (CTO) at Xtiva Financial Systems, a provider of full stack, SaaS compensation and sales performance management products from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, they held the position of Vice President of Reporting & Analytics Engineering at CallidusCloud Software, a market-leading provider of sales performance management solutions from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they worked at Siebel Systems as the Senior Director of Siebel Analytics and later as the Vice President of Product Development. Andrew (Pete) started their career at IBM Research, where they held various software development roles.

Andrew Peterson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Purdue University. Andrew (Pete) also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of San Francisco.
