Jennifer P. Lawson’s practice is devoted to defending insurers in all aspects of insurance law in state and federal courts throughout Florida. She primarily represents insurers and their insureds in cases involving automobile accidents, uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage, property damage disputes, and automobile diminished value. Additionally, Jennifer provides counsel to insurers regarding insurance policies, civil remedy notices, and attorneys’ fee issues.
Jennifer also enjoys providing pro bono legal and volunteer services to low-income and vulnerable individuals. She has experience in both private and public landlord-tenant disputes, including evictions and housing discrimination.
Since 2019, Jennifer has been a volunteer mentor with FAWL in Love with GAL – the Florida Association of Women Lawyer’s partnership with Guardian Ad Litem, which pairs professional women with young women aging out of foster care to provide support and guidance in areas of life from education and careers to finances and relationships.
During law school, Jennifer was a member of Florida Coastal’s Moot Court Honor Board, a staff editor on Florida Coastal Law Review, and a part-time as a law clerk in a firm working in labor and employment law.
