Jérôme L.

Jérôme L. is a seasoned scientist in infectious diseases and global health, currently serving at RIVM National Institute for Public Health and the Environment since October 2020, where expertise is provided for laboratory preparedness and response to high-threat pathogens. In addition to this role, Jérôme operates as an independent laboratory consultant with Bring The Lab and is an on-call team member of the UK Emergency Medical Team under the WHO initiative. Past experience includes managing a cross-border EU funded project at Maastricht University, conducting research at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in China, and contributing to laboratory systems in Sierra Leone during the Ebola outbreak. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Global Health from Maastricht University and additional studies in Global Health Management and Biomedical Science.
