Rob de Haan

Rob de Haan studied Physiotherapy and Administrative Information Science. He started his career in 1985 with various ICT (Information and communication technology)-functions within the Social Insurance Bank (SVB). From 1998 he held several IV (human immunodeficiency virus)-management positions at Banque Artesia Nederland, I-Broker Benelux BV and Van Lanschot Bankiers, among others. In 2003 he started as Deputy Director at the Medicines Evaluation Board ( CBG (College for the Evaluation of Medicines)). In 2013, he continued his career within central government at the Health and Youth Care Inspectorate ( IGJ (Healthcare and Youth Inspectorate)) as Director of Operations and CIO. On February 1, 2020, he made the switch to RIVM. Here he became Director of Information Services (IV) and also Chief Information Officer (CIO).
