Tanmay Verma

Tanmay Verma has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Tanmay is currently serving as a Verification Engineer at Rivos Inc. since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Full chip DV Engineer at Google from December 2020 to June 2022. Before that, they held roles at Apple including GPU DV Engineer from February 2019 to December 2020 and Emulation Engineer from February 2016 to January 2019. Tanmay also gained experience as an Interim Engineering Intern at Qualcomm, where they worked with the Bluetooth VI team on pre-silicon validation and developing a verification framework from May 2015 to August 2015. Tanmay started their career as a Systems Design Engineer at Broadcom, where they worked on pre-silicon validation and post-silicon bring-up of 802.11ac chips for mobile platforms from October 2013 to July 2014. Tanmay also worked as an Intern at Broadcom from January 2013 to June 2013. Additionally, Tanmay has research experience as a Research Intern at Technische Universitat Kaiserslautern, Germany, where they worked on the development of a Multi Radio Network Simulator in 2012. Tanmay also worked as an Intern at Telecom Centre of Excellence, Coordination Centre, where they undertook projects related to the transition from IPv4 to IPv6 and telecom technologies in 2010.

Tanmay Verma completed their education in a chronological order. Tanmay attended Kendriya Vidyalaya Gole Market, New Delhi from 2006 to 2009, where they earned an All India Senior School Certificate with a focus on Science. Tanmay then enrolled at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from 2009 to 2013, and obtained a B.E.(Honors) degree with a specialization in Electrical and Electronics. Finally, they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University for the academic year 2014 to 2015.
