Areej Alkhalis

Areej Alkhalis is an experienced data analytics professional serving as the AVP-Data Analytics & Insights Supervisor at Riyad Bank since September 2023. Prior to this role, Areej worked as a Senior Associate Data Scientist in the Consulting Department at Elm Company from December 2019 to September 2023. Areej also completed a Data Scientist Bootcamp offered by Saudi Digital Academy in collaboration with MCIT in 2019, which focused on technical and soft skills in data preparation and visualization. Earlier experience includes a position as a Lecturer in the Computer and Information Science Department at Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University from August 2017 to August 2018 and a role at The National Commercial Bank - AlahliNCB from May 2010 to March 2012. Areej holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (2014-2016), a Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Computer Science from King Faisal University (2005-2009), and two Nanodegrees in Predictive Analytics for Business from Udacity (2020-2021).
