Richard Quittmeyer

Richard Quittmeyer has a strong background in seismology, with over 30 years of experience in various roles. Richard started their career as a Senior Consulting Seismologist at Woodward-Clyde Consultants in 1981 and worked there until 1996. Richard then joined URS Corporation as a Senior Consulting Seismologist and worked there until 2001. From 2001 to 2008, Richard served as a Senior Seismologist at Integrated Science Solutions, Inc. Richard then worked at Nuclear & Regulatory Support Services, LLC as a Seismologist from 2009 to 2010. Currently, Richard is the Vice President of Seismology at RIZZO International, a position they have held since 2010.

Richard Quittmeyer received their A.B. degree in Earth Sciences from Dartmouth College between 1970 and 1974. Richard then pursued further education at Columbia University, obtaining a Ph.D in Earthquake Seismology from 1974 to 1981.
