Chris Aguilar has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Chris started their career in the US Army, serving as an Indirect Fire Infantryman and leading and controlling a mortar squad. Chris then joined the Ohio Army National Guard, where they held the same position.

In 2000, Aguilar transitioned into the private sector and began working at R J Martin Electrical Services, Inc. as a Safety and Training Supervisor. In this role, they developed and implemented a company safety and training program, conducted safety training for employees, and oversaw various aspects of employee evaluation and health insurance benefits. After 12 years, Aguilar left the company in 2012.

From 2012 to 2015, Aguilar worked at Cleveland Construction as a Health and Safety Supervisor. Chris audited construction sites, identified safety violations, and implemented corrective measures to ensure a safe work environment. Additionally, they developed and presented safety training for workers and maintained training records.

Aguilar's most recent position was at RJ Martin Electric, where they served as the Director of Safety and Human Resources. Chris oversaw the Human Resource Department and Safety Management, guiding the safety culture of a multi-state workforce and representing the company's interests in meetings with OSHA.

Chris Aguilar attended Hiram College from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. In terms of additional certifications, Chris Aguilar obtained an OSHA Authorized Construction Trainer certification from the U.S. Department of Labor in September 2020. In February 2016, they completed the Train-the Trainer Low and High Voltage Training Course offered by e-Hazard. Furthermore, in September 2015, they obtained an Ohio Life Insurance License from the State of Ohio Department of Insurance.
