Ray Burney, Jr. started RLA Engineering in 2010 using his extensive experience in engineering and management. He provides strategic leadership to ensure RLA meets and exceeds the expectations of its clients in a challenging and changing business environment. Ray excels in assembling teams that connect with the customer, provide solutions and achieve results. Prior to starting RLA, Ray led teams in Research & Development, Operations and Manufacturing at Hewlett-Packard and Rockwell Automation. He guided global teams in the production of consumer product technologies using his vast experience in analog and digital technologies, power systems, sensor systems and motion controls. Ray Burney, Jr. has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern University and a Master of Business Administration from Washington State University. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Ray is also a graduate of the Wisconsin Military Academy.
