Sean Showers

Sean Showers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in design, construction, and capital management within the hospitality sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Design and Construction at RLJ Lodging Trust since July 2017, Sean manages annual maintenance capital budgets of $90-$100 million across a portfolio of over 100 hotels. Prior roles include Senior Director of Design and Construction and Associate Vice President of Capital Management at Ashford Inc., where responsibilities encompassed overseeing major renovations, budget planning, and negotiations with major hotel brands. Sean's earlier experience includes project management and asset management roles at Ashford Hospitality Trust and InterContinental Hotels Group, along with consulting work at PKF Consulting. Sean holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Emory University.
