Lyn Kok

Lyn Kok was President and CEO of Standard Chartered Bank in Thailand for six years, with responsibilities over Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam. Prior to that, she was the Managing Director and General Manager for Standard Chartered Bank in Beijing, China for seven consecutive years. Her career has taken her to six countries outside her native Canada and she served as a Positive Living Ambassador for Standard Chartered Bank worldwide.

In addition to her role at Clipper, Lyn serves as advisor and board member to several Thai entrepreneurs on their global expansion strategies. She is also a tech angel investor and advisor to several start ups having been inspired by the concept of abundance, exponential technologies and disruption when she received her LEAD certificate from Stanford Graduate Business School and completion of Singularity University Executive Programme. Lyn is a current board member of the Ronald McDonald House Charities Foundation (Thailand Chapter). An avid lover of all types of music, Lyn has served as a committee member of the Malaysian Youth Orchestra Foundation under the chairmanship of Mirzan Mahathir.

In 2012, she was awarded the International Company CEO of the Year by Bloomberg Businessweek Thailand. Lyn holds an honors degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Toronto, Canada.
