Maria Sparks

Maria Sparks has extensive experience in events operations and hospitality management, currently serving in the Events Operations role at RMD Group since September 2021 and as an Event Captain/Chef Supervisor at Sodexo Live! since September 2013. Previous positions include Event Captain at Hilton San Diego Bayfront and Event Supervisor at The Rady Shell At Jacobs Park. Maria has developed strong skills in customer service, team coordination, and training, with proficiency in Salesforce, Agylysis, and Micros. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Architecture from Woodbury University and a background in Genetics from the University of Toronto, along with a Level 1 certification from the Court of Masters Sommelier in Wine and Spirits.
