Conrad Hertz joined RMF as a Senior Project Manager and New England Operations Lead in 2020 and quickly elevated into the role of Division Manager for the firm’s Boston, Massachusetts office. Conrad has repeatedly proven to be a dynamic asset from his technical abilities and delivery of quality design solutions on complex projects, to his client focused approach and leadership skills. He has developed a reputation for navigating challenging and complex projects across a range of typologies––including science & technology, education, and corporate-commercial. Trained as a mechanical engineer, Conrad has experience in the design and analysis of HVAC and plumbing systems for buildings ranging in size up to 500,000 square feet and has a unique ability to integrate the holistic project goals with the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to deliver a quality design solution.
In his role as Division Manager, Conrad drives the strategic development and expansion of the growing New England team, and spearheads the prioritization of sustainability, decarbonization, and energy efficiency. He maintains the high level of design that RMF is known for and provides opportunities for growth by delivering superior services to address client needs and engineering challenges. In addition to steering his own multidisciplinary team, Conrad also works in partnership with engineering teams from RMF’s other office locations to strengthen the firm’s collaborative spirit and best-in-class talent offering in building and utility engineering services.
Conrad holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont and a Master of Business Administration in International Business from Tufts University’s Fletcher School.
