Madis Toomsalu

Madis Toomsalu is an accomplished financial professional with extensive leadership experience in various prominent organizations. Currently serving as a Non-Executive Board Member at RMK since August 2025, Toomsalu previously held the position of Chairman of the Board at LHV Bank from May 2023 to July 2025. Additionally, Toomsalu was the CEO of LHV Group and Chairman of the Supervisory Board for LHV Pank, LHV Varahaldus, and LHV Insurance from May 2009 to July 2025, and also served as Chairman of the Board at LHV UK. Involved with FinanceEstonia as a Management Board Member from June 2017 to June 2025, Toomsalu contributed to enhancing the Estonian financial sector's internationalization and supporting innovation. Past roles also include Non-Executive Director at Bank North from September 2021 to October 2022. Toomsalu holds a Master's Degree in Finance and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, complemented by education from the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance in 2017.
