Poorva Harbola

Poorva Harbola began their career as a Summer Intern at Maharashtra Remote Sensing Application Center in 2010. Poorva then moved on to Yale University as a Post Graduate Fellow in 2011. In the same year, they joined RMS as a GIS Engineer and progressed through various roles to become a Principal Modeler, their current position since 2023. Poorva has gained expertise in spatial modeling and geospatial analysis throughout their career.

Poorva Harbola completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree at Kumaun University from 2006 to 2009. Poorva then pursued their Master of Science (MSc) in Geoinformatics at TERI University from 2009 to 2011. In 2013, they also obtained a certification in "Astrobiology and the Search for Extraterrestrial Life" from Coursera.
