Tom Kashin

Tom Kashin has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Tom currently works as a Lead Software Engineer at The RND Group, Inc. since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Independent Consultant / pro-bono at TwelveBarSoftware starting from 2014.

In 2021, Tom served as a Staff Software Engineer at Mandolin, where they modified existing back-end and front-end applications and wrote new features using Node.js (TypeScript) and React.

From 2015 to 2021, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Salesforce, where they played a key role in redesigning and implementing Asynchronous API platform and building a Tenant Specific Endpoint system.

Before joining Salesforce, Tom worked at Adapt Telephony Services, LLC as a Senior Software Developer from 2014-2015, developing report designer, C# code-generator, and proprietary customization software.

At Interactive Intelligence, they had various roles including Development Group Manager from 2012-2014, Senior Software Developer (Team Lead) from 2008-2012, Senior Software Developer from 2007-2008, and Technical course developer and instructor from 2006-2007. Tom managed teams of developers, participated in interviews and hiring decisions, and was responsible for personnel management.

Tom's earlier work experience includes being a Senior Software Developer at Aprimo from 1998-2006 and holding roles as Customization Developer and Quality Assurance Engineer at Software Artistry from 1996-1998.

Tom Kashin attended Indiana University Bloomington from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics/History. Tom then pursued further education at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business from 1992 to 1995, obtaining a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Management.
