Mari Jones

Mari Jones has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Mari currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at RNIB since September 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Retail & Emerging Channels Director at BT Group from August 2021 to September 2023. From 2019 to 2021, they held the position of Head of EE Retail Commercial Operations at BT. Before joining BT, Mari held various roles at EE, including Head of UK Retail Communications from 2017 to 2019, Head of UK Communications & Engagement from 2015 to 2017, UK Senior Account Manager from 2013 to 2015, and UK Senior Channel Marketing Manager from 2010 to 2013. Mari started their career at Orange, where they worked as a Senior Channel Marketing Manager from March 2008 to December 2010.

Mari Jones earned a Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Newcastle University between 2003 and 2006. After that, they obtained a Professional Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2014. Mari is currently exploring an MBA and plans to start in 2023, focusing on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Mari has also completed the Leading Through Change Talent Programme from Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning in 2021.
