Bryan Hughes

Funding-development & Heritage Research Volunteer

Bryan Hughes possesses extensive experience in environmental consulting and project management, with a career spanning over four decades. Since 2010, Bryan has contributed to the RNLI in various volunteer roles, including Funding-Development & Heritage Research Volunteer and Volunteer Presenter. Prior experience includes positions at GHD as Consultant Business Development and Associate Director - Environment (UK) from 2015 to 2019, as well as Director roles at CRA Europe and Conestoga-Rovers & Associates from 2011 to 2015. Bryan's earlier roles include Associate Director and Managing Consultant at Parsons Brinckerhoff, Divisional Environmental Manager at BAE Systems plc, Applications Laboratory Manager at BP, and various analytical development positions at LEO Pharma and SmithKline Beecham. Bryan holds a Dip.Eng.Mngt in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick, a PGCE in Science and Chemistry from the University of York, and a BSc(Hons) in Chemistry from Bangor University.
