Laura Reid CMgr

Laura Reid CMgr has over 10 years of experience in various roles within the education sector. Laura is currently working at RNN Group UK as the Director of Safeguarding and Student Support, where they are responsible for safeguarding and PREVENT compliance and training. In their previous role at the same organization, they served as the Head of Student Support and Safeguarding, overseeing the Day Nursery, Learner Finance, and Health & Wellbeing functions.

Prior to their current position, Laura worked as the Deputy Head of Student Services at RNN Group UK, where they managed a team responsible for enhancing student experience and improving success rates. Laura also had experience in managing an Outstanding nursery, as well as overseeing Student Finance, Wellbeing, Counselling, Safeguarding, Careers, and IAG.

In addition to their roles at RNN Group UK, Laura has also served as a Parent Governor at INSPIRE TRUST.

Earlier in their career, Laura worked at Rotherham College as the Learner Personal Development Manager and Learner Success Team Leader. Laura also held positions at Rotherham College of Arts and Technology as the Welfare Support Team Leader and Student Liaison and Safeguarding Team Leader.

Laura's experience demonstrates their expertise in safeguarding, student support, and managing teams to drive improvements in educational institutions.

Laura Reid CMgr completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Psychology from the University of Hull from 2000 to 2003. In 2006 to 2008, they pursued a Post Compulsory Teaching Certificate (PGCE) degree at The University of Huddersfield. In 2020 to 2021, Laura obtained a Level 5 Operations Departmental Manager degree in Management from RNN. Laura also holds a Post Compulsory PGCE degree in teaching from The University of Huddersfield, completed from 2006 to 2008.

Additionally, Laura Reid CMgr obtained the Chartered Manager accreditation from the Chartered Management Institute in January 2022.
