Phil Curtis

Phil Curtis has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Phil is currently the Executive Director of Finance and Estates at RNN Group UK. Prior to this, they held the role of Executive Director of Finance at the same company. From 2018 to 2021, Phil worked as the Finance Director at St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi Academy Trust. In 2016, they founded their own consultancy company called PHILIP CURTIS CONSULTANCY LIMITED, where they served as an Accounting Officer and Director. Phil also has experience in the education sector, having worked as the Chief Financial Officer at ASTON COMMUNITY EDUCATION TRUST and Director of Finance at Shirebrook Academy, Tees Valley Education, NAVIGATE ACADEMIES TRUST, and LEAF ACADEMY TRUST. Phil started their career as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Manchester, specializing in the research and fabrication of high frequency electronic components. Phil also worked as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant at the University of Leeds.

Phil Curtis received their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Leeds between 1996 and 1999. Following this, they pursued their Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering at the same university from 1999 to 2003.
