Dr Mahsa McCauley

Dr. Mahsa McCauley (Mohaghegh) is an accomplished academic and industry leader in computer engineering and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at Auckland University of Technology since 2017, Dr. McCauley is involved in course leadership, research, and community outreach. As a member of the Governance Board for the Artificial Intelligence Researchers Association and a keynote speaker for Celebrity Speakers New Zealand, Dr. McCauley shares insights on AI, higher education, and leadership. With a longstanding commitment to diversity in technology, Dr. McCauley founded Dr Mahsa Sharp and holds various board positions, including with NZTech and the AI Forum NZ. Additionally, Dr. McCauley is recognized for contributions to education through leadership roles such as Director of Women in Technology and CS4HS General Chair, reflecting a dedication to nurturing future generations in STEM fields.
