Marika Khabazi is a visual journalist at Radio New Zealand since July 2021, specializing in high-quality, fast-turnaround video production for the Checkpoint program and various platforms. Prior experience includes serving as a medical videographer/photographer at Auckland City Hospital/Greenlane Clinical Centre, where Marika created promotional and educational content while ensuring patient privacy. Previously, Marika worked as a news video editor at MediaWorks NZ, collaborating with reporters to refine news stories, and as a videographer/photographer at Unitec Marketing, developing educational and promotional videos through close client collaboration. Marika holds a Bachelor's degree in Film and TV from Unitec and a Postgraduate Diploma in Film Production from VSGIK, East Siberian State Institute of Culture.
