Nona Pelletier is an experienced senior journalist based in Auckland, currently serving as a senior business reporter/presenter for RNZ National since June 2014. Prior to this role, Nona operated as a communications specialist while self-employed and held significant positions at the International Institute for Sustainable Development, where responsibilities included managing media and communications and public engagement. Nona's earlier career included consulting roles in public relations for various companies, including TeleTech and American Express, as well as freelance reporting for the Winnipeg Free Press and Bloomberg. Nona's educational background includes a diploma in Journalism from RRC Polytech and an intermediate level diploma in French immersion for educators from College Universitaire de Saint-Boniface. Additionally, Nona studied at Alliance française Auckland.
