Sarah Neilson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and positions. Sarah is currently working at Radio New Zealand as the Chief People & Environments Officer. Prior to this role, they held the position of Head of People at Radio New Zealand.
Before joining Radio New Zealand, Sarah worked at Meridian Energy as the Head of Sales & Partnerships. Sarah also served as the Head of Managed Accounts and Interim General Manager, Human Resources at Meridian Energy.
Additionally, Sarah has experience in human resources leadership roles at Flux Federation, Powershop NZ Ltd, NZ Post, and Inland Revenue. Sarah'sexperience includes roles such as the Head of HR and Customers and Corporate HR Manager at these organizations.
Furthermore, Sarah had the opportunity to work as a Performance & Development Manager at Statistics NZ and as an HR Generalist at Merrill Lynch in the earlier stages of their career.
Sarah Neilson obtained a BCom degree in Business Administration from the University of Canterbury, where they studied from 1995 to 1998. Additionally, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree at the same university, with a focus on Business Administration and Management.
