Alvaro Prat

Alvaro Prat is a Principal Scientist in Artificial Intelligence at Ro5, where responsibilities include developing AI-enabled platforms to enhance various stages of drug discovery, specifically focusing on structure-based protein-ligand generative models and pose estimation through geometric deep learning. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Scientist in Artificial Intelligence, where Alvaro specialized in accelerating drug discovery with techniques such as 3D de novo drug discovery and modeling bioactivity. Alvaro's tenure also encompasses positions as a Research Engineer at Vision RT Ltd, involved in developing software for surface-guided radiation therapy, and at Rolls-Royce, where contributions included simulation software for neutron flux distribution in reactor systems. Alvaro holds a Master's degree in Computing (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, both from Imperial College London.
