George Rehmet

George Rehmet has a diverse work experience. George first worked at the Oakland Unified School District as an AAC teacher from October 1992 to July 2005. George then joined the San Mateo County Office of Education, where they held various roles including Resource Specialist, Math Teacher, and Independent Studies Teacher from February 2006 to July 2014. From August 2014 onwards, they served as a Math/Science Special Education Teacher and Head Teacher at the same institution. In 2007, George became the Convention Director for the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) Convention, a role they held until June 2009. Since January 2008, they have also been a State Representative for the Road Runners Club of America. Most recently, they became the President of the organization in April 2020.

George Rehmet completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work at the University of California, Berkeley from 1985 to 1989. George then pursued a Master's degree in Special Education at San Francisco State University from 1992 to 1996.
