Franciszka A. Monarski

Franciszka A. Monarski has extensive work experience in various roles and industries.

Starting in 1988, they worked as an Attorney for the Federal Election Commission, representing the FEC in federal district courts across the country in campaign finance law cases. Franciszka A. conducted investigations, prepared briefs, and made oral arguments before courts and the Commission.

In 1996, Franciszka joined the Boston Bar Association as a Task Force Reporter. Franciszka A. coordinated meetings and focus groups to explore professional fulfillment in the legal profession. Franciszka A. gathered and analyzed qualitative data and prepared a final report published by the BBA.

From 1997 to 2000, Franciszka worked at City Year Boston. Franciszka A. started as the Director of Operations, overseeing daily operations, managing the budget, and handling personnel issues for a staff of 30. Franciszka A. also directed government relations with AmeriCorps and Massachusetts Service Alliance. Later, they became the Associate Director of Development, developing and implementing a revenue plan to raise $5 million from various sources such as individuals, corporations, foundations, and government. Franciszka A. also managed all special fundraising events.

In 2000, Franciszka joined Road Scholar, initially working as a Development Officer until 2002. In this role, they contributed to the organization's development efforts. From 2002 to 2009, they served as the Senior Program Manager, overseeing national initiatives such as The Ambassador Program, a speakers' bureau of 300 volunteers advocating for lifelong learning, and The Alumni Initiative, which aimed to engage participants and foster their connection with the organization and fellow travelers. Lastly, they worked as the Director of Group Sales, starting in January 2010, where they continued to contribute to the success of the company.

Franciszka A. Monarski received a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Smith College. Franciszka A. then went on to attend Suffolk University Law School, where they earned a J.D. degree. After completing their education, they obtained a license to practice law in Massachusetts in November 1988 and in the District of Columbia in September 1990.
