Joseph Shrand, MD attended Buckingham Browne and Nichols from 1969 to 1976. Joseph then pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts, and Biological Sciences at Sarah Lawrence College from 1976 to 1980. Following that, they completed their medical education at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine from 1986 to 1990. Dr. Shrand went on to receive their MD in Adult Psychiatry Residency from the Institute of Living/UConn in 1993 and completed a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital/McLean Hospital from 1993 to 1995.
