David Dennerline has over 30 years of experience in software engineering. David began their career in 1991 as a Software Engineer at Honeywell Bull, where they were responsible for integrating and upgrading Retix X. 400 mail gateway source code into a finished product. In 1994, they moved to Touch Technology International, where they designed and developed transaction processing servers for smart card payment systems used by transit and gaming industries. In 1998, they joined Internet Security Systems, Inc. as a Software Engineer, spending three years developing the Internet Scanner 6.X product and acting as Technical Team Lead for the 6.2 version. In 2006, they moved to IBM Internet Security Systems, where they held two roles: Senior Software Engineer and Advisory Software Engineer. In the former role, they changed their job focus from C/C++ Networking to Web Application Development and built a micro-services Threat Intelligence Platform application using NodeJS, Python Tornado, ReactJS, Docker, IBM Cloud, and ArangoDB. In the latter role, they designed and developed protocol analyzers that detected network vulnerabilities for Protocol Analysis Module (PAM). Most recently, in 2020, they joined Roadie as a Senior Software Engineer.
David Dennerline's education history includes a Certificate and Assignment to MACS from Marine Air Traffic Control Communications Technician School from 1998 to 2000, where they studied Electronics and Radio Communications. David also holds an Associate of Arts from Glendale Community College from 1987 to 1989, where they studied Humanities.
