Evan Schmitt

Evan Schmitt is a versatile writer and educator with a strong background in film and television. Currently serving as a Contributing Writer at Screen Rant, Evan also holds the position of Development Producer at Reel Bear Media and instructs script writing courses for college students and beyond at Roadmap Writers. Previous experience includes roles as a Staff Writer at Confidential Cartoon Studios, Director of Student Affairs and Program Coordinator at Nashville Film Institute, and Script Supervisor for the feature film "Shut In". Additionally, Evan has guest lectured at Columbia University and hosted the podcast Real True Facts. Currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Mount Saint Mary's University, Evan also holds a Bachelor's degree in Television Writing and Producing from Columbia College Chicago.
