Garth Newton

Garth Newton has held several roles in the software development field over the past 18 years. From 2002-2012, they worked at Research In Motion as Team Lead for SV&V System Level and Automated Performance Testing, SV&V BlackBerry Codeline, SV&V BlackBerry Handheld Applications, SV&V BlackBerry Handheld Software, Project Lead of the SV&V Special Applications Team, and Software Test Specialist of the SV&V BlackBerry Applications Team. From 2012-2014, they worked at Desire2Learn as a Senior Software QA Analyst. From 2014-2019, they worked at Vidyard as a QA Engineer/Team Lead, QA. Currently, they are employed at Roadmunk as Director of Software Development, Development Manager, and Test Strategist.

Garth Newton attended the University of Waterloo - St. Jerome's University from 1998 to 2003 and obtained a Bachelor of Mathematics in the field of Mathematics.
