At The Vancouver Club, Van Le, CPHR was an Events Supervisor. At Vancouver Rape Relief & Women's Shelter, they were an HR & Financial Planning Officer and performed payroll, A/R & A/P functions, benefits administration, filed insurance claims, maintained donor database, and other general accounting responsibilities. At FINCAD, they were an HR Business Partner and implemented organization-wide professional development plans, streamlining of performance reviews through KPIs/Metrics dashboards, creating career site content, and launching new corporate culture video. At Contemporary Security Canada, they were a Recruiter and conducted full-cycle recruitment of over 8,000 temporary hires including job posting, resume review, group interview pre-screen, one-on-one interviewing, job offer, and onboarding. At Knowledge First Financial, they were a Sr. HR Business Partner and drove Employer Branding strategy including production of new culture video. At Up Cannabis, they were a Director of HR and reported into the CEO with full responsibility for creating, improving/scaling programs such as Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Corporate Policies, Training & Development, and Performance Management. At Lighthouse Labs, they were a Director of HR and oversaw full spectrum HR programming with a focus on internal coaching, new manager mentorship, and mental health training. At Roadmunk, they were a Director of People Operations. Lastly, at Tempo Software, they are a Sr. Director, People Team.

Van Le, CPHR obtained a Bachelor of Commerce - BCom from The University of British Columbia between 2003 and 2007. Van then went on to complete a Post-Diploma of Technology in Human Resources Management from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Additionally, they hold a CPHR certification.
