Amotz Maimon

Amotz Maimon has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Amotz is currently the Head of Technology and Product at Roadrunner Venture Studios, where they are responsible for building a venture studio focused on deep-tech transformative technologies. Amotz was also a Strategy & Technology Advisor at Roadrunner Ventures prior to their current role.

Before joining Roadrunner, Maimon worked as a Distinguished Engineering Fellow at Schmidt Futures, where they contributed their expertise in engineering. Amotz also served as an Advisor at Glilot Capital Partners, providing guidance to the fund and its portfolio start-ups specializing in cybersecurity and enterprise software.

Maimon's experience includes a role as a Strategy & Technology Advisor at Qrypt, and they held a senior position at Amazon as VP / Distinguished Engineer. Prior to that, they were the Chief Architect at Yahoo!, where they played a key role in driving technology innovation and engineering culture change. Amotz also served as the Vice President of Technology and Architecture in Yahoo's CTO Office.

Additionally, Maimon has held leadership roles at EMC-IIG, RivalWatch, Radiance Technologies, and Ventro (formerly Chemdex), where they contributed to product development, strategy, and management.

Amotz Maimon received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University in 1986. Amotz later earned a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School in 2001.
