Esther Kuykendoll

Esther Kuykendoll has extensive experience in the non-profit sector, with a focus on youth services and after-school programs. Esther began their career at Harlem Children's Zone as a Student Advocate, where they tracked student progress and provided administrative support. Esther then moved on to the YMCA of Greater New York as a Program Coordinator, where they supervised teen programs and facilitated leadership and education initiatives. Esther later worked for Goodwill Industries International as an Assistant Director, managing staff and monitoring contract performance. At the YMCA of Greater New York, they served as a Program Director for an after-school and weekend program, managing a grant of $300,000+. Esther also worked as a Global Giving Manager at Hands On Tokyo, overseeing fundraising efforts. Esther's experience in managing programs expanded as they became a Program Manager at the Sports and Arts in Schools Foundation, responsible for six after-school programs across the five boroughs. Esther then moved on to Right At School as an Area Manager, accountable for the operations and profitability of multiple sites. Prior to their current role as the Chief Administrative Officer at Roads to Success, Esther was the Director of Youth Services at Union Settlement, overseeing a wide range of youth programs and managing a staff of 120 employees. Esther Kuykendoll completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies at State University of New York at Old Westbury between 2005 and 2009. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Urban Policy and Administration at Brooklyn College from 2010 to 2012.
