Daniel Pickens has extensive experience in finance and accounting. Daniel currently holds the position of VP of Finance at Roadtex Transportation since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at SomnoMed USA from March 2020 to November 2020.

From 2017 to 2020, Daniel served as the Controller at Moore Transport, where they managed a team of 12 and was responsible for various finance-related departments, such as finance, claims, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Daniel also handled month/quarter/year-end close activities, prepared audits, and managed treasury activities.

Daniel also worked as a Staff Accountant at J. Edgar Group from June 2006 to March 2007. In these roles, they gained experience in various accounting operations, including auditing, tax preparation, payroll, and financial statement preparation.

Daniel Pickens earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Franklin Pierce University in 2007. Prior to that, they had completed an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Finance, General from the same university. Daniel is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Tarleton State University, with an expected completion date in 2021.
