Sonia Samal

Sonia Samal is the VP of Product and Technology at Roadzen. Sonia has over five years of experience in software engineering and has worked with some of the most popular tech companies in India.

Sonia started their career as a software trainee at SAP in 2011. Sonia then moved to Samsung R&D Institute India as a senior software engineer. After working there for three years, they joined TinyOwl as an iOS developer. Sonia then left TinyOwl to join nearbuy (formerly Groupon India) as a software development engineer III. Sonia left nearbuy after six months to join Roadzen.

Sonia Samal holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Information Technology from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore and a Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Information Technology from Amity University. Sonia also holds a certification from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in Design Thinking.
