Beatrice Ngina Okeyo

Beatrice Ngina Okeyo has extensive experience in project management and commercial services. Beatrice currently holds the position of Head of Projects at Roamtech Solutions Limited, where they oversee projects for multiple companies including Afrisend Money Transfer, Senti Capital, and Paykit Limited. Prior to this, they worked at MFS Technologies Limited from 2016 to 2022, where they held various roles. As a Senior Manager, they led the development and implementation of a full-stack banking platform and a digital insurance platform. Beatrice was also responsible for developing and implementing the company's commercial strategy and advising on pricing for commercial contracts. At MFS Technologies Limited, they also worked as a Project Manager and an Account Manager, where they managed client accounts and developed go-to-market plans. Before joining MFS Technologies Limited, they worked in marketing and communications for the same company from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, they have experience as an Account Executive at Newline Furniture Limited and as a Literature teacher at Holiness Academy.

Beatrice Ngina Okeyo has a diverse education history. In 2004, they enrolled at Kenyatta University and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Education, focusing on English Language and Literature. Following this, from 2010 to 2014, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Corporate Communication at Daystar University.

In 2021, Beatrice attended Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, where they participated in the Oxford Fintech Programme. In the same year, they also obtained a certification in the Oxford Fintech Programme offered by the University of Oxford.

Additionally, Beatrice has acquired various certifications throughout their career. In 2019, they completed the PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training offered by AXELOS Global Best Practice. In the same year, they also obtained the Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) certification from SCRUMstudy, the Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile.

More recently, Beatrice has obtained multiple certifications related to agile project management. In 2020 and 2021, they completed several courses on LinkedIn, including Agile Foundations, Agile Product Owner Role: Foundations, and Agile at Work: Planning with Agile User Stories. Beatrice also obtained certifications in Agile at Work: Reporting with Agile Charts and Boards, Agile at Work: Getting Better with Agile Retrospectives, and Agile Project Management: Comparing Agile Tools.

Beatrice has continued to expand their knowledge and skills, and in 2022, they obtained the Certified OKR Practitioner Final Quiz certification from the OKR Institute.
