Josh Malave M.ed.

Josh Malave is a dedicated educator and coach with extensive experience in social studies instruction and youth mentorship. Currently serving as a High School Social Studies Teacher at Roanoke County Schools, Josh teaches Advanced Placement courses in U.S. History and Government, as well as World History and Government. In addition to teaching, Josh holds the position of Head JV Basketball Coach at Northside High School, leading the team to a Varsity State Championship in 2023. Previous experience includes teaching positions at Greeley West High School and roles within the Colorado High School Activities Association as a basketball official. Josh's earlier career also involved youth ministry and various coaching roles, including at Fork Union Military Academy. Josh holds a Master of Education from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate and Organizational Communications from Western Kentucky University.
