Karla Sharrer

Karla Sharrer is an experienced educator and entrepreneur, currently serving as the Owner of Greater Than Goods LLC since February 2015, where Karla created the Omniboard™ and conducts workshops for teachers to enhance hands-on learning for students. Karla has held multiple roles within education, including Testing Coordinator, Instructional Coach, and Remediator at Glenvar High School since August 2017, and part-time Substitute Teacher across several school systems, including Roanoke County Schools and Salem City Schools since August 2011. Earlier in their career, Karla served as a tutor and taught various science subjects at the high school and middle school levels. Karla holds a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Radford University and a Bachelor of Science in Geosciences: Earth Science Education from Virginia Tech.
