Margot Warner

Margot Warner is a dedicated school counselor with extensive experience in providing individual and group counseling services to K-5 students. Currently serving at Roanoke County Schools since August 2019, Margot has a proven track record of advocating for students' needs and collaborating with educators and parents to enhance student wellbeing and safety. Previous roles include serving as a long-term substitute school counselor at Back Creek Elementary and as a school counselor intern at East Salem Elementary, where Margot developed guidance programs aligned with Virginia Standards of Learning. Margot also possesses a solid academic background with a Master's degree in Counselor Education from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Roanoke College. Early professional experiences include roles as a graduate assistant at Virginia Tech and various positions supporting students and tutors at Roanoke College.
