Sami Asikainen

Sami Asikainen is an accomplished executive with a diverse background in operational leadership and strategic roles across various technology and fitness sectors. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at ROAR since March 2025, Sami previously held the position of Chief Data Officer at Verge Motorcycles and Chief Executive Officer at Elo Labs, where expertise was applied in developing an AI computer vision platform for the health and fitness industry. A significant contributor to AppGyver Inc, Sami focused on business development and innovation before its acquisition by SAP. Additional experience includes roles as Chief Product Officer at Radium Software, Senior Managing Director at Activeark Oy, and other leadership positions in product management and engineering. Sami holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Ryerson University.
